Water Rail: The bird is still present in area 2.
Little Owl: 2 birds in trees between areas 10 and 11 before flying towards biuldings.

You never know. They seemed quite happy, sometimes they popped down as if they were feeding on the ground.
Woodcocks are an annual visitor to the park. Normally only seen when flushed, though earlier this year I kept on seeing one in Queen Mary's before dawn. They are probably around more than we know. It is just that they come out to feed at dusk when very few people especially birders are in the park.I know that at Titchwell in Norfolk there are quitev a few seen flying off to feed at dusk.
