Crossbill: 1 female type calling from pine in cricket pen, area 24 at 1.55pm.
It then flew off NW.
Common Tern: 1 over the lake at 8.30pm.
Reed Bunting: The nest was quickly checked and had 4 young in, area 25.
Grey wagtail: 1 was by the cascade in area 1.
Mystery caterpillar around 2" long. It isn't in any of my wildlife books, does anyone recorgnise it.

Thanks for that, I see now that it has got the markings of an Eyed Hawkmoth. We have been trapping moths in the park for the past 2 years, but are still novices.
