Wheatear: one present on the open spaces, area 28 . Lapwing: one flew SW at 7.40 am. Collared Dove: one flew NW at 8.25am. Blackcap: a male was singing behind St Johns Lodge, area 15. Reed Bunting: a male was calling from sallows by Hanover Bridge, area 1. Brambling female still at feeding station in area 24, Great Crested Grebe: 8 birds on the lake. Black-headed and Common Gull: only one or two are left after a clear out over the weekend.
