Hawfinch: 2 birds flew over the Leaf Yard Wood, area 29 at 1.30pm.
Tawny Owl: The male was calling from the trees in area 2 at 6.30am. Later it was back at one of his roost sites in area 29.
Ring-necked Parakeet: 1 bird moving between areas 1 and 24.

I heard that loud parakeet at lunchtime. I went down to Area 29 to look for the owl but could not see it. I left just before the hawfinches went over at 1.30pm! Just my luck: I've yet to see one of these.
