The day started with a beautiful sunrise, before turning overcast with occasional light showers.
A smart looking Northern Wheatear adult.

Northern Wheatear first summer male.
Northern Wheatear: 2 males dropped in after the heaviest shower of the day, and fed in area 28.
Swift: 4 birds flew through.
Swallow: 2 birds flew through.
Sand Martrin: 1 bird flew through.
House Martin: Throughout the day the number over the lake increased from 4 to 12 birds.
Willow Warbler: 2 birds were singing in area 25.
Little Grebe: 3 pairs are now present, with a very violent territorial dispute this morning in area 2.
