Common Sandpiper on edge of the lake near the bandstand, area 7.


Second Common Sandpiper on the Bandstand Island, area 6.

Little Ringed Plover: 1 flew SW over the open spaces at 8.05am, only the second park record.
Ring Ouzel: A female flew low over the open spaces and the perched in a tree in area1 before dropping down into the American Ambassadors residence at 7.50am.
Common Sandpiper: 1 dropped down onto the island opposite the bandstand at 7.30am. While trying to get photos of the bird at 9.00am another bird was found.
Great Black-backed Gull: 2 birds flew SW at 7.50am.
Collared Dove: 3 birds flew through.
Swallow: 12 birds flew N in small groups, skimming the tree tops.
House Martin: 18 birds over the park.
Willow Warbler: 1 singing in area 25.

Brisk, to say the least, if sunny.
2 Chiffchaff (h) by Area 22.
2 Chiffchaff (1h, 1s), 1 Willow Warbler Area 29.1 Chiffchaff Area 31.
2 Swallow, 1 low over Sports Pitch Area 27-ish, the other higher Area 4.
1 Sand Martin Area 4.
Kestrels hunting Area 24/St John's Lodge.
5 Long Tailed Tit flocks Areas 20, 22, 30, 1, 25.
