House Martins in area 2.
Another wet day, this could have a really bad effect on the recently fledged tits and finches. The feeding stations in areas 1, 24 and 29 are very active.
Today over 60 House Martins were feeding low over the lake and amongst the trees in area 2.
Common Whitethroat: The male is still in good voice in area 24.
Reed Warbler: The ringed male in area 26 has been commuting over to the reed bed between the two bridges in area 1. He must be frustrated as there hasn't been any sightings of females, and time is getting on.
