Meadow Pipit: 1 bird flew SW, our first of the autumn.
Yellow Wagtail: 1 bird flew N at 8.20am.
House Martin: 50+ bird were above the lake at 7.00am.
Swallow: 6 birds flew N.
Chiffchaff: 7 birds were in with the tit flock. 4 birds showed well in amongst the roses in area 12.
Blackcap: 3 birds also showed well in the trees by the rose wheel, area 12.
Sparrowhawk: 2 singles.
Common Buzzard: 3 singles flew over heading NE at 12.35pm, 12.40pm and 1.50pm, the first two were probably moving together. This is turning out to be the best year on record for this species over the park. Mind you I could do with a different species of raptor.
