Bandstand viewed from area 8


Firecrest: 1 male feeding in area 8 at 7.40am with the tit flock. Not seen after 7.50am but not
really looked for, though the tit flock could still be heard in the area.
Marsh Harrier: 1 flew fairly low south-west at 8.20am.
Chiffchaff: 6 birds, 5 in area 8.
Goldcrest: 6 in area 8.
Long-tailed Tit: 40 in area 8.
Fieldfare: 28 flew north prior to 9.00am. strangely this was the first record of the year.
Redwing: 34 birds in three small groups flew northish before 9.00am.
Meadow Pipit: 1 bird over.
Goldfinch: A flock of 12 flew east.
