Of interest, the puddled clay used in linning the wetland scrape had hard lumps, that when broken turned up fossils such as this, plus other small sea shells.


Siskin: At least 8 birds in area 26.
Goldfinch: Eight birds feeding in area 26 as well.
Little Grebe: 1 bird in area 5 by the Holme.
