Great crested Grebe pondering.
Great crested Grebe has made up his mind and his mate gets ready.
He takes up a precarious position.
He then drenches the female.


Still fairly quiet. Birds are now busy pairing up and nest building.

Chiffchaff: Six birds scattered around the park. The bird in area 29 looks to be establishing a territory.
Great crested Grebe: Three pairs on the lake.
Little Grebe: Two pairs and another bird taking avoiding action.
