Adult Grey Heron arrives at the nest

One of the youngsters gets ready to accept a regurgitated Frog

Can you guess what this is? Thanks for the photo Maggie

A beautiful crisp sunny day with nothing much to report.

Grey Heron:
Youngsters were heard calling from a nest on the island in area 5, the fourth brood.
Great Crested Grebe:
Two pairs were being very territorial on the main lake at lunchtime. One pair going from one potential nest site to another. The problem being that Coots had already got there first.
Siskin: A pair flew over Clarence Bridge.
Stock Dove: Twenty were in the garden by St Marks Bridge this afternoon.
