Three of the most vocal birds in area 24
Three of the most vocal birds in area 24A day off for some retail therapy, not for me but my wife. According to Dave life in the park was very quiet, with a couple of exceptions.
Common Buzzard: One flew NW at 12.20pm mobbed by a Heron. It makes a change for the Heron, they are constantly mobbed by crows as they pass through territory after territory as they fly across the park.
Swallow. Four singles headed north.
Reed Warbler: The bird in the horseshoe shaped bed in area 2, shows extremely well.
Blackcap: There song seems to ring out from every dense shrubbery in the park.
Raven: A worker from the grounds maintenance firm reported seeing a very large corvid feeding on the ground in area 28. He said that it dwarfed the crows that were keeping a respectable distance from the bird. Even a small dog ran the in opposite direction.
