3rd July

There was a lot off wing stretching and flapping going on today. It clearly wont be long before the first one takes a risk and leaves the safety of the box.

Look out below, the youngsters are quite house proud.

Kingfisher: A male was present in area 1, viewed from either of the blue bridges.
Common Tern: The pair chased off an intruder at 7.50am.

Are you the same Tony Duckett who got a 5 wicket haul including a hat trick as featured in this weeks Camden New Journal?

The pictures are Fab as ever – what camera / lens do you use?

Hi sixsixeight.

It is not me in the Camden Journal fooball was my sport. It is coincidence that soomebody so close has the same name.
I am glad you like the pics. I use a Nikon P5100 attached to a Swarovski 65HD. Which seems to suit me as I am really into birding rather than photography.
Hi Tony.
Feel free to call in if your passing or if we get a mega drop in. Hopefully we will one day as we continue to make habitat improvements. When I look at your site I see that you have been doing quite a bit of globe trotting. Your pics aren't bad either.
