I have been told recently that I have been a bit down beat recently. Well this wind is doing us no favours.
Park birds are basically the same.
Garganey: The drake is still present in area 1.
Little Owl: The male was very vocal this morning in area 19.
Reed Warbler: Still 4 males holding territories.
Long-tailed Tit. There were three large family groups seen around the park this morning.

A pair of Common Terns flying over the lake at 6pm.
He tried to entice her with a fish but she was more interested in flying around!
She might prefer bigger specimens and not small fry.
