The strange craft above has been hovering over area 3 for the past four days.
Bird news is still fairly hard to come by.
Little Owl: Pictures below show what I think is this years only youngster. This was only the second sighting of a juvenile this year, with this bird being seen outside a nest box.
Egyptian Goose: Unfortunately a record count of 52 birds were present in the park today.
Yellow-legged Gull: A 3rd summer was on the lake this morning.
Reed Warbler: Several male birds have been heard singing from reed beds away from the ones that have already had breeding birds in them.
Chiffchaff: Birds were heard calling from areas 1 and 30.
Tree Bumble Bee: This species has only been present in the UK for about the last eight years.
Crab Spider with a small hover fly
Six-spot Burnet
Short-winged Conehead
Long-winged Conehead
The Wetland Pen: This area is continuing to develop into a wildlife rich area.
