Two of the reasons why I like Cornwall

I am off to Cornwall for the next week so please keep an eye on what flying through the park. Leave any important news in a comments box.

I am looking to undertake some visual migration watches on the 11th and 18th October. They will start at 8.00am and last as long as there is something to see. It will rely on there being no rain and light winds preferably not northerlies. If interested please leave me a name in the comments section. I hope someone turns up, as this time of year can be very spectacular.

Had my knee done when I got back from Ireland on the mend now....
Will have a hobble around the park.
Would love to be in Cornwall...Keep 'em peeled. Could be great this year.

Hi,

I'll be in London the weekend of th 18th. I was hoping to do a little birding with someone from the area. I'm in from the US on business. I don't have any experience at all with the birds in the London area, but I'd love to do the migration walk with you. Also, is there a London area bird guide that you would recommend?

Chris,

Check out the website of the RSPB Central London Local Group - http://www.janja.dircon.co.uk/rspb/ - for info on birds to see in London.
Hi Glen. Sorry to here about the knee, mine has been dodgy, to much football. Hope you get a chance to get over to the park, though it is still quiet.
Hi Pete.
Lets hope for some good weather.
Hi Chris.
You are welcome to join me in Regent's Park. If you leave me your emali address I will give you directions to where we meet. It is very much weather dependant.

Hi Tony,

Thanks. I'm relieved to go with someone who knows what they're doing. Anyway, I'm at chris.wyse@windriver.com. I may not have Email access once I get to London on the 16th, so please Email before then. I'll be staying in the King's Cross area.

Debbie,

Thanks for the pointer to the RSPB site. I'll definitely review it before I get to London.
