This 1st winter gull was on the lake after lunch. It is probably a Common Gull, though it was slightly smaller, it's general appearance was more rounded and it's expression even more gentle.
Water Rail: two in area 2.
Fieldfare: a flock of around seventy birds flew NE at 7.55am.
Redwing: a few were heard calling as they flew over between 6.00am and 7.00am. The thirty-five flew through in one's and two's.
Lesser Redpoll: one flew over area 1.

Thank you for showing me around the Park on Friday morning! So glad to have been able to see the Water Rail. What a great area you've got there to look after!

It was my pleasure, it was just a shame that the weather was not the best and there was not much happening bird wise. If you are ever over this way again and want a guide just get in touch.
