At last a dry sunny day.
Egyptian Goose: numbers a little down, with thirty-six around the edge of the lake.
Red-crested Pochard: forty-eight on the lake.
Shoveler: twelve birds present.
Gadwall: a pair on the lake.
Ruddy Duck: three birds present.
Tawny Owl: the birds in Queen Mary's Gardens were very vocal this morning, probably enjoying the fact that they were able to hunt last night.
Redwing: One hundred and twenty-eight flew through, prior to 8.00am.
Fieldfare: two birds perched briefly in Queen Mary's Gardens.
Grey Wagtail: one was feeding around the rearing pond in the Nature Study Centre at mid-day.
Siskin: one flew over area 26.
