Smew: female still present.

Sparrowhawk: male displaying high over area 14.

Redwing: 65 still feeding alongside the canal embankment.

Siskin: 1 perched briefly in area 1.

Chaffinch: 70+ feeding with the Redwings in area 32.

 

Just past a full moon, but ideal for the Woodcock to begin there journey back to Scandinavia and beyond.

Three of four Jackdaws that were perched briefly, until crows chased them off.These bright clear days offer the best chance of seeing this species and Rook (rarer) passing over the park.
