Chiffchaff: one was calling in area 24.
Today
Little Grebe: 2.5 pairs on the main lake and 1 bird in area 26.
Great crested Grebe: also 2.5 pairs on the lake, with one of the pairs displaying and holding a territory.
Sparrowhawk: 2 males and 1 female seen, with the female performing her butterfly type display flight.
Smew: female still present in area 26.
Common Teal: 8 feeding in the Wetland Pen.
Water Rail: 1 feeding in rail ditch.
Jackdaw: 1 flew south at 1.20pm.
Redwing: 40 in area 32.
