Smew: female still present on the lake between the area 25 and the island at the far end of area 26.
Teal: 14 feeding in the Wetland Pen area 25.
Water Rail: 1 seen this morning, though if the weather remains fine and dry they might be forced to leave due to the disturbance from the boats on the lake.
Redwing: 56 in area 32.
Lesser Redpoll: one flew over area 14.

I have seen the Kestrels mating twice last week in the morning at around 8:15. Great to see the teals.

I hope for yours and the rest of the public the Kestrels choose one of the new boxes. Then you can watch them rear their young.
The teal have taken a shine to the Wetland Scrape.
