Ring Ouzel: Seen by one observer at 7.00am, and then not until the afternoon. It must be a sun worshipper, as it showed well when the sun eventually came out.
Redwing: Two birds still present in area 29, feeding on berries.
Lesser Redpoll: A flock of twenty possibly landed briefly in the Leaf Yard Wood, area 29 at 9.40am.
Willow Warbler: One in area 2.
Chiffchaff: Eight birds present.
Blackcap: Four males and two females present.
Collared Dove: One flew north-east over area 29.

Think I heard the Lesser Spot this morning. I heard several 'piit piit piit piit' notes from an oak tree. I may also have heard it drumming last weekend but my mind was on something else and it only drummed once.
My LNHS programme tells me you are doing Regent's Park this Sunday. I hope I can make it.
I have been away on a Birds and Climate Change seminar for a few days, it was very informative. Therefore I am not sure what has and has not been seen. The Ring Ouzel was hard to see at the best of times, so I am not sure if it has been looked for. Willow Warblers do tend to look cleaner with green upperparts and whiter below. The pale flesh coloured legs are really the clncher, though you can get Chiffchaffs with pale legs, these are not very common.
Lets hope that it was a male and they have a good spring and bring off a large family.
