Pied Flycatcher: Seen in the early morning sun being chased by a Spotted Flycatcher. Once the sun went behind the clouds, briefly glimpsed amongst a busy flock of tits, finches and warblers.
Lesser Whitethroat: one in area 39.
Common Whitethroat: seven birds present, 5 in area 31 and 2 in area 39.
Garden Warbler: one in area 31.
A few Willow Warblers, Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps also present.
Swallow: two flew south at 1.40pm.
Swift: eight over the lake early morning.
