Meadow Pipit: ninety flew mainly SW in small flocks, a handful landed on the open spaces.
Yellow Wagtail: six birds flew SW prior to 7.30am, four landing for a minute or so.
Grey Wagtail: twenty-four flew west in 1’s and 2’s.
Pied Wagtail: five flew through.
Swallow: 110 headed in a roughly southerly direction.
House Martin: twenty-three, the first group of genuine passage birds headed south with Swallows.
Spotted Flycatcher: one was in area 31.
Sedge Warbler: one was in the reeds by the rail ditch, area 2.
Common Whitethroat: one was in area 31.
Chiffchaff: nineteen birds were around the park.
The colour of Meadow Pipits vary immensely
