European Wigeon: the female that was seen on the 8th was feeding in the rail ditch, area 2 at 7.45am.
Shoveler: 55 on the lake.
Gadwall: 24 on the lake.
Red crested Pochard: 88 on the lake.
Mandarin: 82 on rearing pond at 7.30am.
Carolina: a very nervy drake was on the main lake at 8.05am. It kept well away from the nearest footpaths, also keeping its distance from other birds.
Water Rail: Showed well between 7.30am and 8.00am.
Tawny Owl: one was calling from trees in area 1 at 6.10am.
