Little Owl: one was seen flying to its roosting box at 8.30am.

Woodcock: one was flushed from inside the Leaf Yard Wood, area 40 this afternoon.

Redwing: around twenty birds were feeding on fruit in a tree just inside the small pedestrian gate into area 24 from Chester Road this morning.

Jackdaw: nine were seen, 5 north at 7.55am, 3 south-west at 8.40am and one followed five minutes later.

Firecrest: one was seen in the tall Ivy covered trees by the outside fence to the Leaf Yard Wood.

We finally found the Common Pheasant feeding on the grass near to Chester Gate, area 26, this is only the parks second record.

Red crested Pochard males can be seen chasing females around the lake.

It looks like there are going to be slightly more Grey Herons this year, as new nest are being built.

Mistle Thrushes can be seen and heard singing in all of the open areas of the park.
