Skylark: two birds flew north.
Jackdaw: four birds flew south west.
Today
Shoveler: six birds were still on the lake.
Black-headed Gull: around three hundred birds are still present, they should soon be departing.
Jackdaw: seven birds headed south-west; 5 at 7.50am and then 2 at 8.30am.
Meadow Pipit: one bird flew north.
Common Pheasant: one was seen in the Avenue Gardens this morning by one of the gardeners. This bird was apparently first seen before Xmas, though nobody mentioned this to me.
