Red crested Pochard: a pair with six young at the far end of area 34.
Sparrowhawk: a pair were displaying above Queen Mary’s Gardens.
Collared Dove: one flew west at 6,45am.
Fieldfare: two bird flew north at 7.30am.
Swallow: two flew north.
This is a great opportunity to observe life in a Herons nest. The view either stand on the Bandstand area 9 or by the lake edge and view the nest in a low Willow Tree.

This 1st summer Herring Gull dropped this Freshwater Muscle on to the pathway by the lake to get at the juicy inside.
