Nothing much to report again.
Common Tern: the male is still coming to fish here first thing in the morning.
Swift: birds were present above the park all day, though I haven’t heard them screaming overhead yet.
House Martin: what must be birds from the local colony are looking for mud for their nests. The problem is that there really isn’t any, except around the sprinkler heads on the open spaces. However the material here is really sandy and I would have thought not very suitable.
Common Whitethroat: the bird in area 41 was again present.
Two balloons flew over the park at 5.45am.
