Swallow: four single birds flew through.
Reed Warbler: a bird was seen in the reed bed at the end of the lake in area 34.
Common Whitethroat: a male was singing from the Wetland Pen all morning. Whether this bird was the male from the Cricket Pen I don’t know, it is a bit odd that the male was away from what I expect is recently or soon to hatched eggs is a little odd.
This Lesser Black-backed Gull looked very odd when it flew in with this egg attached to it’s belly.
It is really good to see and hear the sound of the Swifts screaming overhead.
There seems to be three Pied Wagtails collecting insects and then flying off to feed the same brood.
