Nothing new to report apart from my first sighting of a juvenile Green Woodpecker. It was on the path by the Wetland Scrape, this morning.
Male Green Woodpecker feeding on ants around a drain cover by the lake in area 9.
The pair of Common Terns were present on the lake until thunder, lightening and heavy rain made them fly off. The female bird has been ringed, whether as a chick at Brent res or somewhere on migration.
