Spotted Flycatcher: there were three birds hawking insects from the line of Lime trees bordering area 40 for much of the day. These were thought to have moved into area 41 near the bird feeders, where at least five were present at 4.00pm

Also present in the usual areas were good numbers of the commoner migrants. The brambles bordering area 41 held at least 5 Common Whitethroats and plenty of Blackcaps.
