Regent’s Park today

Smew: the 1st winter drake is still present in area 34 & 35, the Longbridge Sanctuary.

Common Teal: still 29 birds present.

European Wigeon: 6 again on the main lake, though they do mix with the collection birds in the Longbridge Sanctuary.

Redwing: 170 flew over, again at least 30 were feeding in area 27.

Fieldfare: 220 flew west.

This Scandinavian Blackbirds bill is turning from black to yellow.

Bushy Park news

Common Buzzard: the bird is still present in the Brew House Fields Wood.

Redwing and Fieldfare: numbers were much reduced due to covering of snow on the ground.
