Regent’s Park
I woke up at 5.00am thinking that the light through the curtains looked promising. I gave it 10 minutes then got up, I was greeted with glorious sunshine when I looked out of the bathroom window. I was at the owls territory within 15 minutes. The female showed straight away and it wasn’t long before the male flew in.
Also a first breeding record for the park.
If at first you don’t succeed try, try, try, try and try again.
There was a pair of Goldcrest close by the owls
The first breeding record of Lesser Black-backed Gull in the park
This young Heron is conning his mum, the rest of the family left a month ago.
