Regent’s Park
Very little change, I had hoped that the rain over night may have caused a wader to drop in, no such luck. The other birds were pretty much the same as in the last few days.
Common Tern: The adult was again feeding a juvenile on the lake this morning.
Garden Warbler: at least one Garden Warbler was present in area 31.
Willow Warbler (2) and Chiffchaff (4) were in amongst a large mixed tit flock in area 32.

Comments
The winds were calm this morning, which appears to have encouraged some passerine to move overnight, having been stymied by fresh S breeze so far this month. Partly sunny at dawn with rain arriving after 10:00am.
1 ad Lesser Whitethroat (W end of Cricket Pen, area 31 at 09:20; the first I've seen in the Park this 'autumn' migration).
1 juv Common Whitethroat (location same as for the Lesser W. above; it appeared to be more strongly marked than the one seen earlier this month so I think it was a different bird).
1 ad Garden Warbler (Leaf Yard Wood, area 41 at 08:20; greyish cast to plumage, with no significant buffyness below).
4 Willow Warbler (two in willows at E end of Wetland Pen, area 32 at 07:20; one in Old Golf School nature paddock, area 39 at 08:10; one at edge of Leaf Yard Wood, area 41 at 08:20).
5 Chiffchaff (areas 1, 10, 17 and 32 + The Holme near Longbridge).
(Hawthorn fruits just starting to turn red. Horse-Chestnut leaves beginning to wither - not for lack ot moisture!)
