Regent’s Park
Firecrest: a pair were feeding in the shrubbery on the NW side of the Rose Wheel this morning, area 17. They were apparently seen there last week also. The location is very good first thing on a sunny morning due to the fact that it faces east and as long as the wind isn’t from the east is a sheltered belt of cover. These facts mean that insects become active here first.
Bushy Park
A slight frost but the water on the lake remained ice free. I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but didn’t really have much time to look. I did manage a quick circuit of Heron Pond (photos were taken there).
