A fairly quiet morning in the park.
Common Teal: 11 birds on or close to area 8.
European Wigeon: a pair on area 8.
Gadwall:14 on area 8.
Northern Shoveler: 60+ also area 8.
Red Crested Pochard: 66 birds area 8 and area 34.
Mandarin Duck: 52 on area 8.
Carolina Wood Duck: drake on area 8.
Redwing: a few singles flew north-west.
Siskin: 2 flew west.
Goldcrest: 16 scattered around the park.
Part of a flock of 24 Red crested Pochards that joined the others on the lake.
Egyptian Geese appeared to be taking up territory on this Heron nest.

After nary a Goldcrest seen all morning, ♂&♀ Firecrest moving SW along NW border of Rose Wheel, Queen Mary's Gardens, area 17 at 11:45. (Dave says they've been there "all week".)
