Regent’s Park
Shelduck: 2 pairs present.
Common Sandpiper: a bird was on the edge of the lake near the Bandstand before then flying to area 8.
Redwing: 35 dropped into area 31 and 32 at 7.10am before quickly departing eastwards.
Chiffchaff: 6 birds in areas 2, 31 and 32.
Willow Warbler: 2 birds singing in areas 34 and 38.
Lesser Redpoll: one flew north.
Siskin: one also flew north.
The Kestrels became very agitated when another male came into their territory. It was circling very high over the Open Spaces before drifting off towards Primrose Hill. I wonder if the pair have also returned to there?
