Regent’s Park

Swallow: 2 through.

Northern Wheatear:  8 birds present.

Lesser Whitethroat: 2 birds singing.

C. Whitethroat: 1 in area 31.

Bushy Park

Sparrowhawk: 3 circling high above paddocks.

Swift: 8 flew north.

Swallow: 26 present.

Yellow Wagtail: one north at 12.00pm.

Wheatear: 23 around the usual open areas.

Whinchat: 2 males and a female south of the Oval Plantation.

Had a breeding pair of collared doves (literally) this morning just outside the park. And a hobby.

3 Swallow skimming over lake 07:05, 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Willow Warbler, 17 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler nr Rose Wheel 10:15 (patch yr-1st), 3 Reed Warbler.

1 Shelduck (the flighted pair appears to have left last week), 2 Chiffchaff (2 ♂s on territory: Hanover Br Sanctuary area 1 & 'Granny's Corner' in Queen Mary's Gdns a.19, cf 5-6 last spring), 3 Willow Warbler, 1 Garden Warbler (just SW of QMG Rose Wheel a.17 again; Dave had the yr-1st in Leaf Yard Wood 26 Apr 19:45), 3 singing ♂ Reed Warbler Boathouse Cafe reedbed a.5, 1 Pied Wagtail feeding N of Clarence Gate (presumably one of the local breeding pair), 2 Lesser Redpoll over.
