Regent’s Park
Not an awful lot to report.
Redwing: 6 flew east.
Siskin: 1 flew east.
Though not in this nest yet, the first Heron chicks can now be heard calling from at least one nest.
This female turns the eggs in the nest just before the male comes in to relieve her of her duties for a while.
Most of the Shoveler’s have now departed
Over the years most of the terrapins have been caught and given to rescue centres. Though I haven’t seen it happen they could well eat grebe or coot eggs.
