17th April

I was in Regent’s Park at 6.30am staying for 3 hours. It was very disapponting, the only migrants of any note were a pair of Wheatears and a Willow Warbler. There were plenty of Blackcaps singing and at least 5 singing Chiffchaffs but they could be all on potential territories.

The photos below were taken in Regent’s Park today, the Little Owl and Swallows, which were taken in Bushy Park yesterday.

She was hoping he would oblige, he was more interested in building the nest. The site is in a very vulnerable position and I feel is unlikely to last.
