3rd June

A strange day weather wise, no time to bird as I am busy looking for OPM caterpillars. I did manage to pop in and take a few photos of the family of grebes on the western side of the Bandstand Island. You may not appreciate Great crested Grebes but these are beautiful birds. I was also shocked when I was much younger to see them bobbing up and down in a stormy blown North Sea.

Those little humbugs on thier back are so cute too.
It has been one of the best years for sometime, though they are not all surviving.
