This juvenile flew into a tree close to last years laid hedge on Dukes Head Passage. It sat there mewing for a while before taking off and coming close to the Iron Bridge.
Great photos, glad I've found your blog! I've just recently arrived in the UK and am keen to get some owl and bird of prey sitings under my belt (and learn to distinguish them too!). I'm just round the corner from Bushy Park and have seen a couple of what I presume to be Hobby in the last few days. I would be keen to know where the little owl can be found if it has a specific roost. Looking forward to more photos!
