Bushy Park

While waiting for the guys to arrive to continue with OPM nest removals I had a quick check on the Skylarks in the protected area? There were males singing, pairs collecting food and and possibly a couple of young flying around chasing each other.

Magpie’s are still walking the track picking at tit pits and probably listening out for the sounds of young larks in their nests.

Regent’s Park

The juvenile Kestrels are becoming more confident on the wing. After a calm start to the day the wind picked up in the afternoon, this allows them to gain confidence as they can hang in the breeze.

The male is always on guard and although we do not see her as often she is probably watching from the wings.
