Bushy Park
A walk along the parks western boundary between Dukes Head Passage and the Water Gardens produced several good birds.
Common Buzzard: I disturbed a male that was perched in a tall Chestnut tree by the river.
Kingfisher: one flew along the river.
Cetti’s Warbler: the male was singing from some Elderberry bushes by the river.
Chiffchaff: at least 3 birds were feeding here.
Reed Bunting: 3 birds were feeding on phragmites seeds, occasionally they would perch up in the bushes just north of Dukes Head Passage.
