Common migrants numbers are still fairly low, however if you are patient and in areas with suitable habitat you never know what might appear.
Spotted Flycatcher: one was in or around the Old Golf & Tennis School enclosure, area 39.
Reed Warbler: a family were in bushes in area 32.
Lesser Whiteththroat: a cracking fresh plumaged bird was also in area 39.
Common Whitethroat: one in area 39.
Garden Warbler: 3 in area 32.
Blackcap: 20+ in area 31, 32, 39 and 41.
Willow Warbler: ten birds moved between areas 31 and 32.
Chiffchaff: 15 in the same area as the Willow Warbler apart from a 3 or 4 in area 39.
It was funny how Blackcaps, the C.Whitethroat and even the Lesser were intrigued by the Spotted Flycatcher.
