Bushy Park

Buzzard: one of the juveniles mewed constantly early morning from within the Brew House Meadow.

Hobby: birds were over the Woodland Gardens and by the Leg of Mutton Pond.

Little Owl: one was hiding in a Hawthorn Tree by Hawthorn Cottage.

Whinchat: 1 in bracken south of Upper Lodge Road.

Cetti’s Warbler: a pair seemed to be displaying in Willows by the Scrape.

Reed Warbler: 6 present.

Common Whitethroat: 7 at least in the park.

Blackcap: there were some cracking males in the scrub just north of Dukes Head Passage.

Chiffchaff: there was as increase in numbers, with over 20 present.

Willow Warbler: 3 birds present.

Richmond Park

Little Egret: one feeding around the shores of Upper Pen Ponds.

Peregrine Falcon: a male was over Pen Ponds.

Hobby: 3 birds were over Pen Ponds at mid-day.

Sparrowhawk: a male was stooped on by the male Hobby.

Kingfisher: one around Pen Ponds.
