It is unusual to have a ringed passerine in the park.
In the past we have had a Wood Warbler and a
Reed Warbler that bred here for 3 years in a row.
Blackcap
Tree Pipit by the Chat Bushes
Whinchat; numbers on and around the Chat Bushes
peaked at 6 on the 17th, the highest total since 1969.
A Grasshopper Warbler was also present that day.
