Regent's Park
Firecrest: I joined the Regent's Park Wildlife Officer on his monthly bird survey of several areas of the park on 26th. We were lucky enough to encounter 3 Firecrest's, 2 in Queen Mary's Gardens and another in the Avenue Gardens.
Cetti's Warbler: the male was heard on 2 occasions in area 32 both just as it was getting light.
Chiffchaff: one sang briefly from area 32 on 26th.
Redwing: 12 flew west on 26th.
Water Rail: one has showed well in the Rail Ditch several times.
Here are a few recent photos.

This Goldcrest was chased off by the Firecrest male.
I was pleased earlier in the week to see a Heron land in a basket.
Then today even better news, there was a pair present.
The Great crested Grebe pair are back on last years nest by area 7.
The Water Rail in area 2 showed well this morning.
The photos below were taken in Bushy Park on Friday.
